About The Position

The Angiography Scheduling Coordinator will be proven to have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. They should be highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Requirements

High School graduate, some college preferred.
Minimum of 6 months prior medical office experience.
Maintains certification in BLS.
Personal computer skills
Good verbal communication skills
Display critical thinking and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for responding to phone calls and relaying relevant information to staff.
Schedules inpatients and outpatients appropriately and arranges transportation as needed.
Communicates with other departments about patient care and information.
Fax, powershare images, make CD's, replenish fax machines & printers.
Escort patients to and from waiting room/Outpatient areas.
Input on-call schedule in Web Exchange monthly and input any updates.
Receive supplies & scans into the system.
Input patient names in Spacetracks for Technologists.
Transport inpatients when necessary.
Inform Dialysis Center when patients are a "No Show".
Follow-up with outpatient to see if IR patients have arrived.
Enter patient's names on Status Board for the following day.
Stock consent forms and keep them current.
Follow-up with RN for inpatient orders to provide pertinent information to IR providers.
Coordinate in-services for staff.
