About The Position

Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician group practice, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The role involves assisting physicians with interventional and peripheral studies as a circulating nurse, providing pre and post-surgical care for vascular patients, managing medication and discharge orders, and offering patient education and counseling under physician direction. The nurse will also assist physicians with procedures, including sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring, in accordance with Angio Lab policies and procedures. Procedures include arteriograms, dialysis access, and port placements.

Requirements

Current BLS required.
Current ACLS required.

Nice To Haves

Three to five years ASC/Circulating nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with interventional and peripheral studies as a circulating nurse.
Provide pre and post-surgical care of vascular patients.
Manage medication orders and discharge orders.
Provide patient education and counseling under the direction of the physician.
Assist physician with procedures as needed with sterile preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Angio Lab.
