About The Position
Provides support for the seasonal Angel Tree program; lifts, carries, loads and unloads a variety of Christmas gift donations; serves as an attendant at Angel Tree sites; interacts with donors and responds to questions regarding the donation process; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with pick up from the malls or corporations. Performs data entry of recipient information. This is a Christmas seasonal position Nov-Dec.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers
- Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program
- Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
- Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner
- Ability to abide by the required dress code
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
- Ability to lift, carry, load and unload light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
- Ability to stand in one location for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required
