About The Position
Sentara Anesthesia Specialists, a division of Sentara Medical Group, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, the region’s only Level III Trauma Center. This 273-bed hospital has a longstanding commitment to serving the communities of Virginia Beach, the Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina. The facility provides specialized tertiary services along with a broad range of advanced clinical programs. As an accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet-recognized hospital for nursing excellence, Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital offers expertise in: Heart and vascular care, Neurosciences and neurosurgery, Orthopedics and spine care, Oncology services, Advanced imaging, Behavioral health. Sentara Anesthesia Specialists is a premier group of highly trained anesthesiologists and CRNAs serving more than 15,000 patients annually across Hampton Roads. All physicians are board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and our CRNAs are nationally certified. We are among the first health systems in the Hampton Roads region to implement objective quality metrics to ensure excellence in patient satisfaction, safety, efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
