Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus in Anesthesiology
• Valid state medical license and board certification in Anesthesiology
• Board Certification
• DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience in a clinical anesthesiology role preferred
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and post-operative care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
• Willingness to work on weekends

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and manage patient recovery post-procedure.
• Provide exceptional patient care.
• Handle surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, ophthalmology (including vitrectomy and cataract procedures), and podiatry.
• Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Work within a care team model, primarily functioning independently on individual cases.
• Supervise other staff optionally.
