About The Position

Requirements
- Specialty: General Anesthesiology
- Board Certified; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified (American Heart Association standards).
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record System
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Communicate with surgical teams to coordinate anesthesia care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and best practices
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Delivering general anesthesia primarily for general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, with occasional minor neuro cases (though infrequent).
- The provider will be responsible for a limited number of standard pediatric cases.
- Candidates should be prepared for occasional assistance with anesthesia delivery.
