About The Position
Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Medical Group, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to provide PRN coverage at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. This is a 500+ bed tertiary care facility and the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, serving as a major referral center for southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. The hospital offers highly specialized and advanced clinical services, including a comprehensive heart hospital, advanced neurosciences and neurosurgery services, transplant programs, and high-risk obstetrics. As the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School, it provides a dynamic academic environment with a strong emphasis on innovation, research, and clinical excellence. Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is a highly regarded team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care supported by objective quality metrics focused on outcomes, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist.
- Physicians are board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
- CRNAs are certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
