Anesthesiology NP/PA (Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic)
About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Perioperative Medicine Clinic team at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, New York. The clinic is part of a progressive academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The role joins an established group of six Advanced Practice Clinicians, with strong support staff and an anesthesiologist available as a resource. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no call and no weekend work. Perioperative medicine experience or knowledge is a plus but is not required. The position uses the EPIC electronic medical record.
Requirements
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- New York State licensure.
- BLS certification.

Responsibilities
- Join and contribute to an established team of six Advanced Practice Clinicians in the Perioperative Medicine Clinic.
- Provide care in the pre-operative assessment clinic with support from clinic staff and an anesthesiologist.
