About The Position

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an Anesthesiology residency program
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Availability for on-site, full-time scheduling
  • Level II Trauma Center functioning as a Level I Trauma Center
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure a safe operative environment
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine anesthesia needs
  • Stay informed of advancements in anesthesia techniques and protocols
  • Ensure compliance with all medical and safety regulations
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
