About The Position

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. This role will primarily be in the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine with clinical duties in the Main Operating Room. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to patient care, education, research, and service. UNM Hospital is the state's only Level I Trauma Center, featuring extensive Critical Care facilities including ICU, pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, trauma surgical intensive care, a burn center, and neurosurgical intensive care units. The position involves providing high-quality anesthesiology care, educating and mentoring learners, and contributing to departmental academic and service goals. Requirements

Must hold unrestricted medical license.
Must hold M.D. or equivalent.
Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or within three years of residency and active in the certification process.
