About The Position

Join our progressive healthcare facility in southwest North Dakota as a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Anesthesiologist. This exceptional opportunity offers unparalleled earning potential up to $800,000 annually, plus a $50,000 signing bonus, with flexible employment options including W2 or 1099 independent contractor arrangements. Practice independently in a modern surgical center providing comprehensive anesthesia services across diverse specialties including orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and ophthalmology procedures. We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to deliver full-scope anesthesia care in a patient-centered, safety-focused environment. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of accredited Anesthesiology residency program
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience
  • Active or eligible state medical license for North Dakota
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology by ABA
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques, nerve blocks, and advanced airway management
  • Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented approach to patient care
  • Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for surgical procedures including orthopedic, OB/GYN, and ophthalmology cases
  • Conduct thorough preoperative patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and sedation using current best practices
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and adjust anesthesia as needed
  • Deliver post-anesthesia care and patient monitoring in recovery
  • Perform advanced procedures including nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, and emergency intubations
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in call rotation schedule (1:5 ratio)
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EHR system
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
