About The Position

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our expanding Anesthesia team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Opportunity Details 11 weeks of vacation Join a collegial team of over 11 General Anesthesiologists, 2 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 60+ CRNAs Call schedule of ~1:8 Carle Foundation Hospital is a Level I Trauma hospital with Open Heart (basic TEE skills with proctoring available), Trauma, and Neurosurgical cases and has 22 ORs running on blocks averaging 75 cases per day Provide service across Carle enterprise which includes Carle Foundation Hospital, Digestive Health Institute, Interventional Labs, OB, Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and our new 23,000 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center Excellent benefits package: health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, 457 deferred compensation plan, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage Majority of cases are medical-direction of CRNAs Opportunity to oversee a wide variety of cases (excludes transplants, burns and pediatric hearts) Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering About Our Community Globally connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign-Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis and is home to one of the world's great public research universities - the big Ten University of Illinois. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $700,000 - $800,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
