About The Position

NorthStar is offering a Full-Time Anesthesiology opportunity with a quality of life schedule, working 1 week on and two weeks off, at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. Our physicians and CRNAs work together in a collaborative care-team model with a diverse case mix. NorthStar provides competitive compensation and benefit packages along with a supportive and engaged clinical leadership team. The schedule is 7a-7p, 1 week on, 2 weeks off (total of 17.5 weeks per year). A $100k Sign-On Bonus is being offered. Total Annual Compensation is $375k Base Salary + $25k Quality Bonus. Case mix primarily includes: General Surgery, Ortho, GI and OB. No hearts or heads. Benefits include CME allowance, paid tail and malpractice insurance, a complete benefit package including 401k, and much more.

Requirements

Full-Time Anesthesiologist
Physician and CRNA collaboration
Experience with General Surgery, Ortho, GI and OB cases

Nice To Haves

Experience with hearts or heads cases (as this is not part of the primary case mix)

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care in a collaborative care-team model with CRNAs.
Manage a diverse case mix primarily including General Surgery, Ortho, GI and OB.
Work a schedule of 7a-7p, 1 week on, 2 weeks off.
