About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management (EAM) is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join the team at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX. Woodland Heights is a multi-specialty facility that offers a full scope of medical services. This is a 1099 position with a compensation of $650k for 26 weeks of service. The position offers a week-on, week-off schedule with backup call only and the ability to call from home. The case types include general surgery, pediatric, ENT, urology, orthopedic, GYN, podiatry, and GI. Labor epidurals and SAB for C-sections are also part of the scope. The care team model consists of 2 MDs and 8 CRNAs, with general supervision of veteran CRNAs.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Comfortable overseeing CRNAs.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, pediatric, ENT, urology, orthopedic, GYN, podiatry, and GI cases.
- Administer labor epidurals and SAB for C-sections.
- Supervise a care team model of 2 MDs and 8 CRNAs.
- Provide general supervision to veteran CRNAs.
- Be available for backup call only, with the ability to call from home.
