About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a mission-driven pediatric surgery organization to recruit a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) to join their anesthesia team supporting surgical services at their Raleigh, NC location. Join a collaborative care team and provide anesthesia services for pediatric and adult special-needs patients undergoing restorative dental and oral surgery.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA or AOBA)
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Clean malpractice and licensure history
• CRNA medical direction experience required for those working within a care team model
• Ability to supervise up to three concurrent ORs

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• Provide medical direction and supervision for CRNAs within a care team model
• Support up to three concurrent operating rooms
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric and adult special-needs patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and the surgical team
• Participate in approximately 9 hours of scheduled OR time per day
