About The Position

A well-established and highly regarded multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an experienced locum Anesthesiologist for vacation coverage and sporadic days throughout the remainder of 2026. This is an outstanding locum opportunity offering exceptional hourly compensation, an 8-hour daily guarantee, and a diverse and rewarding multi-specialty case mix in a clean and efficient outpatient surgical environment. With the ability to work independently and no call obligations this position delivers outstanding earning potential and flexibility for the right candidate. Requirements

• MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Proficiency in ultrasound guided blocks
• Experienced anesthesiologists only
• Comfortable working independently in an ambulatory surgery center environment
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to exceptional patient outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.
• Work independently in an outpatient surgical environment.
• Perform ultrasound guided blocks.
• Utilize EMR charting.
