Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New York
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient evaluations
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and provide post-anesthesia care
Provide anesthesia services for procedures including: Endoscopy, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT (Otolaryngology)
Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff
Ensure adherence to evidence-based anesthesia practices and patient safety standards
Respond to perioperative emergencies as needed
Maintain accurate anesthesia records and procedural documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
