About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative, hospital-employed anesthesia team providing comprehensive perioperative care in a modern community hospital setting. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New York
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient evaluations
  • Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and provide post-anesthesia care
  • Provide anesthesia services for procedures including: Endoscopy, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT (Otolaryngology)
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff
  • Ensure adherence to evidence-based anesthesia practices and patient safety standards
  • Respond to perioperative emergencies as needed
  • Maintain accurate anesthesia records and procedural documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
