About The Position
MUSC Health – Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible Anesthesiologist to join a team-based practice in Florence, SC. This role is with MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) and is classified as a Regular Employee. The position is based at the Florence Medical Center, a regional acute care facility with 396 beds, serving Northeastern South Carolina. MUSC Health is the clinical enterprise of the Medical University of South Carolina, recognized nationally for innovation and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Eligible for South Carolina licensure.
- Strong clinical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with major vascular anesthesia.
- Experience with minimal obstetric anesthesia.
- Experience with minimal pediatric anesthesia.
- Experience with neuro anesthesia.
- Experience with ambulatory anesthesia.
- Experience with regional anesthesia.
- Experience with orthopedic anesthesia.
- Experience with ENT anesthesia.
- Experience with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cardiac anesthesia.
- Experience with thoracic anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a team-based practice.
- Administer anesthesia for major vascular procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for minimal obstetric procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for minimal pediatric procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for neuro procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for ambulatory procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for orthopedic procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for ENT procedures.
- Perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.
- Administer cardiac and thoracic anesthesia (optional).
