About The Position
The Department of Anesthesiology at the Emory University School of Medicine is seeking board eligible/board certified anesthesiologists to join their Emory University Hospital Midtown Surgical Specialties team. Emory University Hospital Midtown is a tertiary-care medical center staffed exclusively by Emory University School of Medicine faculty, performing 22,000 anesthetics annually and serving a diverse patient population. The hospital also includes a growing obstetrical service with approximately 6,000 deliveries per year. As a faculty member, physicians will contribute to the tripartite mission of delivering high-quality clinical care, engaging in innovative research, and educating medical students, residents, and fellows. Emory's anesthesiology program has 48 residents and 20 fellows across various ACGME-accredited programs.
Requirements
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia.
- American Board of Anesthesiology board certified/eligible.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care.
- Participate in innovative research.
- Educate medical students, future anesthesiologists, and anesthetists.
- Supervise anesthesia residents on advanced OB and ENT rotations.
- Supervise OMFS residents in the main OR.
- Share full call responsibilities for both the main OR and Labor & Delivery.
