About The Position

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established anesthesiology group covering two southern TENET hospital campuses and a freestanding outpatient surgery center in Palm Beach County. You'll work in a clinically rich environment spanning Trauma Level I cases, nationally recognized endovascular and structural cardiovascular procedures, robotics, thoracoabdominal surgery, pediatrics, and OB — all at a Level II community hospital with a strong CRNA workforce and academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University, and FAU. The position involves anesthesiology coverage across two hospital campuses — Delray Medical Center (DMC) and West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) — plus an outpatient surgery center. The combined OR capacity is 21 rooms at DMC (including cardiac) and 6 ORs + 2 OB rooms at WBMC, with an additional OR coming online. The team consists of 7 attending physicians with a 1:4 physician-to-CRNA ratio. There are 5 call days per month (24-hour shifts — main and OB), with post-call physicians not contacted unless staffing is critically short. A rotating batting order system is used for OB call, which is structured and transparent. Weekend coverage is handled by a dedicated weekend team, and night float is in place at Delray for overnight coverage. Academic affiliations are with FIU, Barry University (SRNAs), and Nova Southeastern (CAAs). The call schedule is published 3–4 weeks in advance.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesiology coverage across two hospital campuses (Delray Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center) and an outpatient surgery center.
Manage cases spanning Trauma Level I, endovascular and structural cardiovascular procedures, robotics, thoracoabdominal surgery, pediatrics, and OB.
Participate in a call schedule including 5 call days per month (24-hour shifts for main and OB).
Contribute to weekend coverage handled by a dedicated team.
Engage with academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University, and Nova Southeastern.
