About The Position

Sierra Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesiologist Physician to join their growing anesthesiology team. This role is based at a nationally recognized, 350-bed acute care facility that is a regional leader in cardiac and neurological care. The position offers the opportunity to practice at a high-acuity institution with a collaborative physician and CRNA team. The facility utilizes an in-house billing, coding, and collections model to allow physicians to focus on patient care.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one

Nice To Haves

• Cardiac fellowship preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services, with capability for cardiac cases.
• Manage patient care in a hospital-based setting.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and CRNAs.
• Participate in a call schedule of 5-6 days per month, with a post-call day off.
• Handle approximately 10% solo case mix.
