About The Position
Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Health, is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our team in a Flex/Per Diem capacity at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) in Woodbridge, Virginia. Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed, Level III not-for-profit community hospital that combines the clinical resources of a major integrated health system with the collegial atmosphere and personalized care of a community-based facility. The anesthesia team supports approximately 9,200 cases annually, including more than 1,500 deliveries. This opportunity offers the ability to practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment with flexibility to accommodate your schedule, while maintaining exposure to a diverse and rewarding case mix.
Requirements
- BC/BE Anesthesiologist
Responsibilities
- Support approximately 9,200 cases annually.
- Provide anesthesia services in 8 anesthetizing locations operating Monday through Friday, including 5 main OR suites, endoscopy, EP Lab/CVIR, and Labor and Delivery.
- Handle a broad case mix including general, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, OB/GYN, pediatric, and subspecialty surgical services.
