Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. The role involves independently administering anesthesia, supervising CRNAs, preoperative optimization, patient monitoring, developing anesthesia plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a four-year Anesthesiology residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology; new graduates are welcome to apply.
New Hampshire medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Strong skills in regional and obstetrical anesthesia are preferred.
Opportunity to practice chronic pain management if desired.

Responsibilities

Independently administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Supervise CRNAs.
Preoperative optimization in collaboration with our Surgical Optimization Center.
Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive perioperative care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
