About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Pain Management Anesthesiologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. This role involves providing services Sunday through Saturday, between the hours of 0000 to 2359 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 16-hour shift, with flexibility needed based upon the daily schedule and cases to support patient care. The position offers freedom from malpractice insurance worries and has an available salary in the range of $200-250 per hour, with options for Employee or 1099 status.

Requirements

Possess and maintain board certification in Anesthesiology from either the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
One year of experience required.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide services Sunday through Saturday, between the hours of 0000 to 2359 hours.
Work shifts normally scheduled for an 8.5 to 16-hour shift.
Be flexible in hours needed based upon the daily schedule and cases to support patient care.
Be available for on-call duties with call back (average around 2 call backs per month).
