The Per Diem Anesthesiologist/Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) supports the mission, goals, and strategic plan of South Florida Donor Network (SFDN) by providing anesthesia services for brain-dead donor organ procurements. This role is responsible for the intraoperative management and physiologic optimization of organ donors during procurement procedures to maximize organ viability and transplantation outcomes. The provider collaborates closely with procurement surgeons, perfusion teams, donor management coordinators, operating room staff, and transplant professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality donor care throughout the operative process. The Per Diem Anesthesiologist/CRNA is expected to maintain hemodynamic stability, optimize ventilation and perfusion, manage vasoactive medications and blood products, and respond effectively to rapidly changing donor physiology during multi-organ recovery procedures. Experience in cardiac anesthesia, transplant anesthesia, trauma, critical care, or complex surgical procedures is strongly preferred. This position plays a critical role in supporting organ utilization and advancing the life-saving mission of organ donation and transplantation.
