About The Position
Corewell Health, Michigan’s largest health system, is seeking full-time and part-time CAAs to join our dedicated team of anesthesia providers at Blodgett. This role offers flexible scheduling options with 10 and 12-hour shift blocks, manageable call expectations with an anticipated maximum ratio of 1:7, and the opportunity to work-life balance while earning more by covering additional call and shifts. The position is located at a Level 3 Trauma Center with diverse cases in various specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, and more. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Anesthesiology (MSA) or Master of Medical Science.
- National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistant (NCCAA) upon hire.
- Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA within 90 days.
- Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a Level 3 Trauma Center.
- Manage diverse cases in specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, and more.
- Participate in flexible scheduling with 10 and 12-hour shift blocks.
- Adhere to manageable call expectations with an anticipated maximum ratio of 1:7.
- Cover additional call and shifts to increase earning potential.
