The Anesthesia Technologist is responsible for working in all locations where general anesthesia is provided. This role involves performing room turns, preparing rooms for cases including invasive procedures, and troubleshooting anesthesia machines. The technologist will also assist with invasive procedures such as arterial line, CVC placement, and thermo dilution catheter placement. A key aspect of the role is maintaining knowledge of infection control practices related to anesthesiology equipment and supplies, as well as ordering supplies and restocking rooms and carts as directed.
