Requirements

  • Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED
  • Maintain CPR certification (HCP)
  • Basic technical skills to provide equipment troubleshooting support within Anesthesia
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry an average of more than one hundred (100) pounds consistently throughout the shift
  • Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment
  • Provide proper surgery positioning of patient
  • Scrub in to assist with procedures on call and on weekends
  • Assist with setting up A-lines and pre-procedure blocks
  • Assist with the induction of children
  • Properly clean rooms
  • Order and stock supplies
  • Transporting patients to and from the inpatient unit
  • Effectively interact with hospital staff, offices, patients, families and guests
