About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to partner directly with licensed anesthesia providers to facilitate critical care interventions, including patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and the placement of invasive lines and advanced airway adjuncts. The role involves orchestrating the end-to-end sterilization and calibration of anesthesia delivery systems, ensuring 100% equipment uptime through proactive daily maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of technical malfunctions. Additionally, the technician will optimize surgical throughput by managing high-volume inventory and prepping specialized suites for emergent, urgent, and scheduled procedures, ensuring all life-support equipment was staged and functional for immediate use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
