About The Position

UW Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Lead for University Hospital in Madison, WI. This is a full-time, 100% FTE evening/night position, Monday-Friday from 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm, with required weekend and holiday rotation. The Lead will be responsible for ensuring daily tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately by the team, performing, organizing, and overseeing the daily work activities of anesthesia technicians, providing mentoring, problem-solving instrument issues, and contributing to employee evaluations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR or obtained within 180 Days Required

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree as Anesthesia Technologist Preferred
• 3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist Preferred
• Experience in providing education and orientation as a subject matter expert Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assure that daily tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately by the team.
• Perform, organize, and oversee the daily work activities of the anesthesia technicians.
• Provide mentoring of staff, problem-solving instrument issues and provide feedback for employee evaluations.
