About The Position

Provides technical skills in preparing anesthesia equipment used during surgical and related medical procedures. The position assists with preparing operating rooms, setting up equipment and supplies for anesthetic procedures, cleaning equipment afterward, and maintaining anesthesia supply and equipment inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of related experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing operating rooms for a variety of anesthetic procedures.
• Set up the anesthetic machine, tracheal intubation equipment, monitoring equipment, and other supplies specific to the type of anesthesia.
• Clean the anesthetic machine and other equipment after completion of anesthesia.
• Maintain inventory records and order, store, and distribute anesthesia supplies, drugs, and equipment.
• Adhere to internal controls and the reporting structure.
• Perform related duties as required.
