About The Position

Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures. This role involves pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover. It also includes auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation. The Anesthesia Tech will also provide basic level equipment troubleshooting and order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System.

Requirements

• High school Graduate or Associates Degree
• High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
• Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects
