About The Position
Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia including preparation, setup, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Communicate with the anesthesia team to ensure their needs are met and assist with complex procedures. Operate equipment and provide support for various surgical cases. Ensure equipment maintenance and emergency coverage as needed. Participate in training and development activities.
Requirements
- BLS certification.
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech.
Nice To Haves
- Certification by a recognized professional certifying body preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
- Operate specialized equipment during surgeries.
- Support equipment maintenance and perform troubleshooting.
- Participate in staff training and development programs.
- Set up and manage anesthesia carts and rooms.
