This role carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to: Assisting the anesthesia department with daily preparation for cases, room turnover, restocking of supplies, cleaning of equipment, and other duties as noted in the job description. The Anesthesia Tech will also assist the sterile processing technician and supply coordinator with assigned duties. The position requires adherence to established policies and procedures, open communication with internal customers and supervisors, and providing excellent customer service by interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. The role also involves applying Cooper core values and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous training and experience as patient care technician or nursing assistant of one year duration
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates initiative and ability to take independent action
• BLS Required

• Formal patient care technician or nursing assistant training desired
