About The Position

This job manages and coordinates the daily operations, strategic planning and system CRNA practice in collaboration with Service Line Leadership, CRNA Site Managers and Site Leads. Plans and organizes all clinical functions including manager/staff development and system budgeting. Serves as the liaison to the CRNA Site Managers and Hospital Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in a Nurse Anesthesia program
  • 5 years experience supervising CRNAs including experience working independently, setting priorities and maintaining complete confidentiality.
  • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse License
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License
  • Board Certified by the NBCRNA
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures quality of care & patient satisfaction.
  • Oversees personnel and workforce to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Participates in research, education & training activities.
  • Ensures operational profitability.
  • Participates in long range business planning.
  • Performs clinical duties of a CRNA.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
