About The Position
Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is seeking an Anesthesia / Pain Medicine Specialist to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement an existing private practice, typically involving a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis at a Concentra location. Concentra Advanced Specialists are crucial in managing medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work, and aiding in functional restoration. The specialist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to offer services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, communicate with employers, and actively participate in case management. The role emphasizes providing treatments that significantly improve the lives of patients seeking care.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board certification or Board Eligibility in the field of Anesthesia and or Pain Medicine
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

Responsibilities
