Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• If no previous hospital or pre-hospital training, Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to progress to an Anesthesia Technician position within 6 months to 1 year of hire.
• Act 34

Nice To Haves

• 6 months - 1 year of health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work varied shifts — weekday evenings, weekend daylight, and nights — supporting patient care 24/7.
• Assist in Trauma and Transplant procedures, including: Rapid blood infusion, Difficult airway assistance, Cell salvage and jet ventilation, Swan Ganz catheter and liver transplant bypass cannula assistance.
• Support anesthesia providers across all procedure areas: OR, MRI, GI Lab, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR suites.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for anesthesia procedures to ensure smooth and safe patient flow.
• Troubleshoot critical equipment such as Anesthesia gas machines, GE B850 patient monitoring, Edwards CCO monitoring, and TEE/Ultrasound systems.
• Maintain stock levels and organize surgical suites for quick turnaround between cases.
• Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and supplies.
