About The Position

Carv is seeking a passionate Android Engineer to join their team. This role involves building and shipping features across the Android app, from the UI to the data layer. You will collaborate closely with designers and product managers to create intuitive, high-performance interfaces. A key part of the role includes contributing to real-time coaching features powered by AI and sensor data, with opportunities to test these features on the ski slope. You will also learn from and contribute to architectural decisions alongside senior engineers, and stay updated with Android advancements to help adopt new best practices.

Requirements

• A passionate skier, beginner skiers welcome
• Experience shipping production Android apps, with examples you're proud of
• Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Relentless bias for action
• Comfortable in a small team where scope is broad and priorities move quickly

Responsibilities
