Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience building native Android apps in Java and Kotlin.
• Proven track record shipping Android applications available in the Google Play Store.
• Demonstrated leadership in complex project delivery and technical team guidance.
• Deep expertise in Android app optimization, troubleshooting, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with JavaScript or React Native.
• Server-side development with RESTful APIs (Node.js).
• Background in building lists and registry experiences.
• Experience at Walmart or other major tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize advanced features in large-scale Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences on Android.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance and reliability.
• Lead the discovery, design, and delivery of medium to large-scale projects.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Experiment with new technologies and develop rapid prototypes to drive innovation.
• Oversee code integrity, environment configuration, and release management.
• Participate in agile development cycles, including analyzing business requirements and storyboards.
• Resolve production issues and deliver robust solutions that align with business vision and industry trends.
