About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing features for Android applications, acting as a technical spokesperson for the project, and collaborating closely with design and product teams to create intuitive user experiences. You will also promote software development best practices, identify and evaluate new technologies, and ensure the quality and performance of our mobile applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields.
Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical spokesperson for the project to key stakeholders.
Develop and design features for Android apps.
Represent the team in technical discussions with other engineering teams.
Partner closely with our design and product team to architect application flows that are intuitive for our users.
Promote and support software development best practices and standards.
Anticipate technical problems and risks, mitigate, and communicate status across team leadership.
Influence Android development process for API creation, design, and product.
Review and approve software design and code produced by team members.
Identify and evaluate internal / external technology (vendors, frameworks/APIs) to integrate with mobile applications.
Write unit tests and support QA/testing activities.
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Monitor app performance and provide continuous enhancements.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and industry trends.
