About The Position

Adidev Technologies is seeking entry- and mid-level iOS and Android developers with at least 1–2 years of experience. Candidates must be willing to relocate depending on the client assignment. Projects may last from 6 to 18 months, and candidates should be available to start as soon as possible. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are required. As an iOS or Android Mobile Developer for Adidev Technologies Inc., you will enhance and debug large-scale applications for well-known clients. The position is offered as W2 or 1099 contract work, full time at 40 hours per week. Salary depends on experience.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of experience as an iOS and/or Android developer.
Willingness to relocate depending on the client assignment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Android: At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin; required experience lists Java at 1–2 years and Kotlin at 1 year.
Android: At least one application published to the Play Store and familiarity with the publishing process.
Android: Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, Android versions, and adapting to different screen sizes.
Android: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Android: Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
Android: Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting applications to back-end services.
Android: Comfortable using Git and source control.
Android: Strong work ethic and ability to manage work and time independently.
iOS: Proficiency with Swift and hands-on knowledge of Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.
iOS: Experience with frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
iOS: Experience with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
iOS: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
iOS: Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting applications to back-end services.
iOS: Familiarity with third-party API integrations, including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, Google Drive, Bluetooth, and Keychain.
iOS: Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
iOS: Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
iOS: Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
iOS: Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
iOS: Familiarity with continuous integration.
iOS required experience: Swift 1–2 years, Objective-C 1–2 years, iOS SDK, and App Store.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries.
Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs.
Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
