About The Position

Adidev Technologies is seeking entry- and mid-level iOS and Android developers with at least 1–2 years of experience. Candidates must be willing to relocate depending on the client assignment. Projects can last from 6 to 18 months, and candidates are sought to start as soon as possible. Excellent written and oral communication and the ability to work well in a team are required. As an iOS or Android Mobile Developer for Adidev Technologies Inc., you will enhance and debug large-scale applications for well-known clients. The position is offered as W2 or Contract 1099, full time (40 hours). Salary depends on experience.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of experience in iOS or Android development.
Android: At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin.
Android: At least one application published to the Play Store and familiarity with the publishing process.
Android: Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, Android versions, and handling different screen sizes.
Android: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Android: Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
Android: Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting applications to back-end services.
Android: Comfort with Git and source control.
iOS: Proficiency with Swift and hands-on knowledge of Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.
iOS: Experience with frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
iOS: Experience with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
iOS: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
iOS: Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting applications to back-end services.
iOS: Familiarity with third-party API integrations, including Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, Google Drive, Bluetooth, and Keychain.
iOS: Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
iOS: Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
iOS: Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
iOS: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
iOS: Familiarity with continuous integration.
Strong work ethic and ability to manage oneself and one's time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to relocate depending on the client assignment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries.
Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs.
