Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a web developer to join our Data Science Platform Engineering team. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications for new and existing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• An understanding of object oriented and/or functional design paradigms and best practices
• High aptitude for logical thinking and pattern recognition
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and practices to overcome existing challenges
• Ability to adapt to constant change and innovation
• Understanding of Web technologies based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript such as Angular

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, WebAPI, Database Design (SQL), Core MVC, AWS Cloud Technologies, Automated Testing, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodologies, or Version Control Practices (git) is a plus
