About The Position

Amyx is seeking to hire an Analytics Specialist to support our Defense Logistics Agency client remotely. This role involves independently designing and developing analytic solutions that investigate both quantitative and qualitative aspects of strategic and tactical service activities. The specialist will provide outputs in self-service formats such as dashboards and visuals, translating customer needs into analytic solutions with minimal oversight. The position requires analyzing large, complex datasets specific to supply chain and operations to formulate insights for vaguely defined problems, and identifying/sourcing data from disparate systems. Utilizing statistical models and algorithms, the role will produce insights to influence systemic, process, or business-related courses of action. The specialist will also recognize deviations from expected performance, apply analytical techniques, and communicate methods and outputs for specific supply chain functions like Planning, Fulfillment, Procurement, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business, Applied Math, or related field.
  • Four (4) years of relevant professional and practical experience with Supply Chain and/or Operations analytics.
  • Basic professional certification with analytics tools (e.g., SAS, R).
  • Experience with delivery lifecycle using AGILE methodology, SQL, Relational and/or Non-Relational Database Design.

Responsibilities

  • Recognizes deviations from expected process or systems performance, apply appropriate analytical techniques, and effectively communicates methods and outputs for specific supply chain functions: e.g., Planning, Fulfillment, Procurement, Finance.
