About The Position

We have an opportunity for an Analytics Scientist I to join our team. This role involves working on diverse assignments that require creativity and problem-solving. You will have the chance to lead projects, interact with customers, and contribute to technical documentation. This position offers autonomy and the ability to make impactful decisions while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related life science or physical science is required at minimum.
  • Ability to proactively address work issues individually and within a team.
  • Strong ability to process, maintain, and interpret data.
  • Understanding of instrument operations and troubleshooting skills in multiple techniques.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in a related life science or physical science field preferred with 0+ years of related work experience.
  • Master's degree in a related life science or physical science field preferred with 4+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related life science or physical science field preferred with 6+ years of related work experience.
  • Previous experience with HPLC and Karl Fischer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute laboratory work plans and schedules independently, using customer milestones and site performance standards.
  • Work with sample types including in-process, release, or stability using techniques such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Disintegration, Friability, Hardness, and appearance.
  • Perform method development, validation, and transfer activities.
  • Author technical documents such as protocols, test methods, reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures.
  • Review technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct work of technical staff, including assigning tasks.
  • Act as Technical Lead with responsibility for project outcomes and customer interaction.
  • Execute efficiency improvement projects with guidance.
  • Identify and recommend business opportunities on a project-specific basis.
  • Train others on laboratory techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
