Analytics & Reporting Lead - Technology, Data & Analytics
About The Position
Fluence Energy, LLC is hiring an Analytics & Reporting Lead for its Technology, Data & Analytics function. The role is based at the company’s Arlington, Virginia address, with 100% remote work permitted. The position is accountable for defining and implementing analytics tools for SAP, including Standard Reporting, Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Objects. The lead develops analytics solutions and data pipelines to the data lake or data warehouse, translates business requirements into technology solutions, and leads the design, development, implementation, training, and support of SAP reporting and analytics solutions. The role also leads onshore and offshore SAP reporting and analytics support and works with QA, internal teams, help desk, and business stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, followed by seven years of experience in reporting and analytics. The stated annual salary range is $173,000 to $262,000. The employee must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- Seven years of experience in reporting and analytics after obtaining the degree.
- Five years of experience with reporting applications SAP Business Objects and Tableau.
- Five years of experience with SAP Analytics applications, including SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BW.
- Five years of experience with data analysis, SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Five years of experience leading implementation of standardized methodologies and best practices across SAP Analytics applications and similar platforms, including SAP Business Objects, SAP HANA, SAP BW, and Tableau, to ensure consistency in data integration, modeling, and reporting.
- Five years of experience developing analytical solutions on SAP modules such as OTC, PTP, and RTR.
- Five years of experience setting up reporting environments such as SAP BusinessObjects or Tableau, including architecture, user management, security setup, and content management.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment, without employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement SAP analytics tools, including Standard Reporting, Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Objects.
- Lead an analytics team in developing and designing analytics solutions to support the business.
- Build pipelines to the data lake or data warehouse.
- Understand and document business requirements; analyze existing or new information and applications; propose solutions; and execute selected technology solutions.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, training, and support of SAP reporting and analytics solutions.
- Lead the onshore and offshore SAP report and analytics support team.
- Work with and advise the QA team on test-plan and test-case design and automation.
- Help create and review training, product, and solution documentation.
- Train internal teams to use and maintain integration solutions.
- Support the help desk and business teams with technical issues.
