About The Position

Imagine360 is currently seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the team! We are seeking an Analytics Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience to help build and maintain the data infrastructure that supports enterprise and client-facing analytics. This role focuses on developing reliable, scalable, and reusable data models and transformation layers that power reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data modeling and data quality, and the ability to work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to turn requirements into well-structured data solutions. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, curious, and eager to grow as an analytics engineer. You should enjoy digging into data, understanding how systems work, solving performance and data-quality problems, and building solutions that make life easier for analysts and business users. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to work across SQL, data modeling, BI, and analytics engineering while developing deeper expertise in modern data platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, including data sources, extracts, performance optimization, and basic administration.
  • Experience working with healthcare claims data or other complex transactional datasets.
  • Experience contributing to data governance, data quality, and analytics standards.

Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a closely related analytics/data role.
  • Strong T-SQL/SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, joins, aggregations, and set-based transformations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, including interpreting execution plans and identifying opportunities for indexing, query rewrites, and improved data access.
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query/M, or semantic model development.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Professional experience writing and maintaining Python code, with demonstrated ability to work independently on data pipelines, scripting, or application development.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling, including star schemas, data grain, fact and dimension tables, and reusable transformation layers.
  • Experience building incremental and repeatable data pipelines with appropriate data validation and quality checks.
  • Experience developing and maintaining analytics-ready datasets that can be consistently consumed by BI tools and analysts.
  • Experience with Git/source control and maintaining clear documentation of data models, dependencies, and transformations.
  • Ability to work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to investigate data discrepancies and identify root causes.
