Sr Analytics Engineer
About The Position
An individual with the ability to design and develop data Integrations to deliver Enterprise BI Data Marts and BI Semantic Data layer(s). This role requires strong technical skills in platforms such as MPP Platforms (Teradata), Hadoop Datalake , Databricks, Azure Cloud and PowerBi with ability to design and develop end to end data integration pipelines. As an Architect in the Enterprise Business Analytics & Business Intelligence team, this role is expected to manage multiple projects within the team and support others within the DAS organization. Many of these projects/initiatives are part of the HCSC & DAS initiatives to improve data processes, technology infrastructure and reporting/analytical services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience or 9 years' equivalent experience with data integration platforms
- Strong technical experience in Business Intelligence Architecture and technologies.
- Experience working with a data architecture team to develop/manage a universal semantic model
- Experience working with Hadoop tech stack like HDFS, Hive,Spark, Pyspark/python, Sqoop.
- Experience working with MPP platforms like Teradata BTEQ, SQL, T-SQL etc
- Experience working with Azure , ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process and tools.
- Knowledge of working with Enterprise grade scheduling tools like control M etc
- Strong analytical skills
- Written, communications and presentation skills
- Proactive self-starter, quick-learner, flexible team-player, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare sector experience preferred
- Hands on experience with databrick , pySpark and powerBI semantic model.
- Understanding of Databricks Assistance or Git Copilot will be helpful
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources
