About The Position

This role supports National Discount Strategy and Actuarial Analytics by delivering insights that help our organization understand how it is evaluated in the healthcare marketplace and the options available to employer groups to meet their unique business goals. As an Analytics Consultant, you will partner with Sales, Account Management, Network, and Actuarial teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable guidance. Your work will focus on analyzing provider discounts, interpreting external benchmarking data, and helping business leaders understand how our performance compares across the competitive landscape and what it means for their clients. This role plays a critical part in supporting enterprise strategy and competitive positioning. By delivering clear insights into provider discount performance, you will directly influence sales strategy, client engagement, and product decision-making—enabling the organization to compete more effectively in a dynamic healthcare market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
  • Understanding and high proficiency at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
  • Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
  • Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Experience of Healthcare industry - payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, etc.
  • Experience with version control/collaborative tools, such as GitHub
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx.
