About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant to support Deposit Products functions within the Consumer Banking & Lending organization. Our Analytics team provides strategic analysis, management reporting and tactical data support for the Deposits business. In this role, you will deliver analytical insights and support for various deposit products and programs which will require data mining, developing reports, performing in-depth analysis and designing and running data processes.

Requirements

2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate business performance, identify key drivers of results, and assess opportunities to improve revenue, expense management, and return on investment
Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools), including experience querying large data sets and developing dashboards, visualizations, reports, and analytical solutions

Responsibilities

Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups
Develop customized reports and ad-hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to product management team
Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to deliver insights and analytical solutions
Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and other strategic goals
Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
